As we all know, WebOS 3.0 powers the new HP TouchPad which was announced back in February.
Another leaked photos of the HTC Pyramid which is yet to be announced by HTC gets photoed and leaked again. I do not know about you but I think that metallic, very HTC, band at the phone's behind is sexy for me. It may be just like the HTC 7 Mozart but it really works.
The HTC Desire S, the successor to the popular HTC Desire, was announced during the Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona, Spain. The phone is scheduled to be launched by Vodafone UK in April 8th. Currently, the network is also taking pre-orders from interested customers of the said smartphone.

In this blog this will be the first time this leaked phone from the Finnish phone maker will be talked about. This have been leaked before and since it has been leaked a lot already I've decided to blog about it, even if this aint't a WP7 device. The E6-00, as pictured above, is a candybar QWERTY type phone running on Symbian and aside from the photo above it also starred in a video which you will be able to watch right after the break.
BlackBerry's very popular BlackBerry Messenger app and service have been updated! The app which is also coming to Android and iOS devices soon, gets an update which includes usual bug fixes (what are updates for) and maybe some new features. There is no changelog with this update or release so that's why I am guessing.

Today, Australia is the next country to be getting it.
Ok, so HTC have already announced that the Droid branded Incredible S, in the US, will be available globally. I think it would be very unfair for the world if their first 3D capable smartphone would only be available in the States via Sprint. It is just fair if they announce the HTC Evo 3D around the world, right? First, it's coming to Europe and for sure the rest of the world should be getting the phone too.
Nokia, the Finnish mobile manufacturer and in fact the world's largest mobile phone maker, have unveiled their new font and branding that we should expect and see in products, packaging, and ads, within 2011. This is entirely Stephen Elops way of moving the company forward. Also, the font they have just unveiled looks similar or familiar for those who have used a phone with WP7 running in it. You get it? Microsoft and Nokia's partnership.

Google, the creator of Android, apparently needs a smartphone or a tablet in order for it to push the latest released version of the OS, for them to test (of course). Google is reported to be talking with LG with regards to creating the "Pure Google" tablet. Like the HTC-made Nexus One and the Samsung-made Nexus S, the Google Nexus tablet (that's how they call it), will be getting the latest version of Android's tablet optimized platform. These is a report by Mobile Review, which is still unconfirmed. The tablet is touted to be available in "mid-Summer of early Autumn". If true, then this is a rumor that we will all take, "juicy" and sumptuous.

The Samsung Series 9, the Korean giant's answer to the MacBook Air, was announced during CES 2011 in Las Vegas with only one kind, the 13.3-incher. We know that Apple made two kinds of MacBook Airs, the 13-incher and then it has a little brother which is an 11-incher. I thought that the Series 9 from Samsung will only be a 13.3" laptop until today.

Mozilla, the company or community responsible for one of the most popular browsers in the world, Firefox, have made a very informative inforgraph of the Firefox 4. The infograph basically tells us, again, how Firefox rules the browser market. Other competitors vying to get a piece or a chunk of that market like, Google Chrome, Opera and Internet Explorer just seem to just stare at the master do its stuff. But, of course, Google Chrome's popularity and rise is not something we can just ignore. Anyway, head over the break to check out Mozilla's infographic photo that they have made.

Three UK first announced the E7 to be offered by them. But when is the phone really gonna be launched?

Anyway, the smartphone will be running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread when launched and sports a 4.3" touch screen display.
This is extremely good news for people who uses the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10! Sony Ericsson have once said that the Xperia family of smartphones (excluding the new ones) will stay with Android 2.1 Eclair and will not be upgraded to any higher version of the Android OS. Fortunately, the Swedish company changed their minds and have announced that the Xperia X10 will get not 2.2 Froyo but Android 2.3 Gingerbread in the end of Q2 or early Q3 of this year!
The company from Cupertino, California, have officially released the next version to their mobile platform! iOS 4.3.1 is now available for your downloading needs for the iPhone, iPad, and the iPod Touch. I was able to read an article about someone porting iOS 4.3.1 into an iPhone before, but decided not to blog about it since I thought it would take a month or so before it gets released.
We already know that the Korean giant announced their Android 3.0 tablet challenger during the Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona, Spain. The "re announcement" of the same tablet in a different event at a different place (CTIA 2011 in Florida) was a surprise. I thought they were only gonna announce the Galaxy Tab 8.9 but they also announced a much sleeker Galaxy Tab 10.1
Facebook added a new feature called Facebook Question. This feature's purpose is for a user to quickly get answers the way they want their questions to be answered. The feature is introduced today and I was able to try it and somehow learn how to use it.

Skype highly recommends that all Mac users upgrade their Skype to the latest version to now only get these new features but most importantly to get rid of the bugs and whatnots.
Why are apps important? Well, for most, they are the life blood of a mobile device these days. Most would rather choose a device that would and could run more apps than the competition can. With these kind announcements it would considerably increase the number of apps, obviously, that the BlackBerry PlayBook can run.
Another update is pushed to the Stable channel of Google Chrome. The update, version 10.0.648.204, is for the Windows, Mac, Linux, and Chrome Frame platforms. This update will now support password manager on Linux. Other security fixes listed after the break.

Intel have officially unveiled their 2nd Generation Intel Sandy Bridge chips in the Philippines. It's apparent that these are the revamped and redesigned Cougar Point chipsets. If you can remember the first wave of these chips were found to have a design flaw which of course caused a bit of chaos here and there.

This report clearly shows how Firefox is so popular compared to Microsoft's Internet Explorer. I have posted before that the Internet Explorer 9 RTM within 24 hours of its release was download 2.3 million times. Well, Mozilla surpasses that number and have reported that Firefox 4 RTM (final release) was download 7.1 million times.

So if you get the HTC tablet at Sprint it's be named the HTC Evo View 4G but if you buy it not from Sprint (apparently only at Best Buy) it'd be named the HTC Flyer. For those who wants the HTC tablet without the 4G fuss and the montly bills from Sprint then you can only get it at Best Buy for an undisclosed price.
