USA: Sprint rolls out HTC Evo 3D Android 4.0 ICS update

Sprint has officially started rolling out the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update to its HTC Evo 3D devices. Ownsers of the device should be able to get notifications about a new software update available for their smartphones. Apparently, the update is administered OTA so you don't need to hook your HTCs into a computer. For more information about the update of the HTC Evo 3D head over to Sprint's Support Site.

HTC confirms Android 4.0 ICS update to the Sensation, XE, XL, Rezound, Evo 3D, Evo Design 4G, & Amaze 4G coming in early 2012

HTC announces which of their Android devices will be getting the most awaited iteration of the Android platform early in 2012. At the company's Facebook Page (HTC UK) HTC has listed the following smartphones that should receive Android 4.0 ICS in 2012. These are the HTC Sensation, Sensation XE, Sensation XL, HTC Rezound, Evo 3D,  Evo Design 4G, and the HTC Amaze 4G.

IND: HTC launched the HTC Evo 3D in India for Rs 35,990

The HTC Evo 3D is officially launched in the Indian market and should be available across all the HTC stores you find within the country. HTC is putting a Rs 35,990 tag price on the device which runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Also, it is HTC's first 3D capable device with the capability of shooting stills and videos in 3D. Other than that the HTC Evo 3D also packs a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 4.3" 3D LCD (540x960) display, WiFi, Bluetooth, 1GB of RAM, a dual 5MP rear facing camera (for those 3D images and videos), a 1.3MP front camera, 1GB of internal storage, and up to 32GB of external storage via a microSD card slot.

HTC Evo 3D also gets Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread

The HTC Evo 3D also gets the Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread. According to Android Community, this smartphone was the first to get the update ahead of the HTC Sensation 4G. The updates brings in screenshots and bug fixes to the smartphone. Like the Sensation 4G's update, the Evo 3D's update is also via OTA.

UK: HTC Evo 3D delayed in the UK to launch in September

The HTC Evo 3D was already confirmed to come to the British shores but then Vodafone UK decided to cancel their launching of the smartphone for one major reason, HTC has confirmed that the smartphone will be delayed in the UK until September. HTC told TechRadar that they will be pushing the launch date. Here is what HTC said to the UK techblog,  "We can confirm that the HTC EVO 3D will be available to UK customers through Carphone Warehouse from September 2011."

UK: HTC Evo 3D now up for pre-orders in the UK - free with £33.50/month plan

The HTC Evo 3D is now available for your pre-orders in the UK. The smartphone is being offered by Play.com for free with a £33.50/month plan or you can get it for £499.99 unlocked. The HTC Evo 3D is the company's first 3D capable device and is the successor of the world's first 4G capable handset, the HTC Evo 4G.

HTC Evo 3D to land in Europe in July

The HTC Evo 3D, is the Taiwan-based company's first 3D capable handset and is bound for a trip to Europe this July. The phone will be sporting just like what Sprint is currently selling like a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 4.3" qHD glass-less 3D touchscreen display, 5MP dual-lens rear facing camera, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. HTC just said that the smartphone will be available "broadly in Europe in July. What broadly means to them is for them to know and for us to find out. USA: Sprint launches the HTC Evo 3D and the Evo View 4G

Sprint has finally made the HTC Evo 3D and the HTC Evo View 4G available. The HTC Evo 3D is the upgraded version of the popular Evo 4G smartphone but now it has a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, and  3D capability. The HTC Evo View 4G, on the other hand is basically the HTC Flyer, HTC's first Android powered tablet. Sprint, yesterday, launch both devices and made them available to customers. The Evo 3D is priced for $199.99 with a 2-year contract with, apparently, Sprint. The Evo View 4G is available for $400 with a free HTC Scribe digital stylus. HTC Evo View 4G and the HTC Evo 3D to officially launch in June 24

For those of you in the US who are waiting for the official announcement of the HTC Evo 3D's launching, then this is the time you have been waiting for. HTC fans, the HTC Evo 3D is officially launching come June 24 together with the HTC Evo View 4G. The two devices were announced and unveiled during CTIA 2011 in Florida and both will also be launched together.

USA: The HTC Evo 3D is now available for pre-order at Best Buy

For those who are eagerly waiting for the successor to the popular HTC Evo, the HTC Evo 3D is now available for pre-order at Best Buy. Best Buy did not announce this fact but tech blogs got a hold of a letter to employees informing them that if customers ask for the HTC Evo 3D they should tell them that it is available for pre-order. HTC Evo 3D coming to the European market

Ok, so HTC have already announced that the Droid branded Incredible S, in the US, will be available globally. I think it would be very unfair for the world if their first 3D capable smartphone would only be available in the States via Sprint. It is just fair if they announce the HTC Evo 3D around the world, right? First, it's coming to Europe and for sure the rest of the world should be getting the phone too.

HTC Evo 3D officially announced by Sprint at CTIA 2011

So, this is the HTC Evo 3D? It looks like the HTC Desire HD but of course this phone right here announced by Sprint at the CTIA 2011, packs a revamped internals. It is also HTC's and Sprint's first 3D capable device. Verizon has the Thunderbolt, AT&T has the Inspire 4G, and then Sprint has the Evo 3D, where's T-Mobile's share of the 4.3 incher from HTC?

HTC Evo 3D and HTC View 4G confirmed to be unveiled at CTIA 2011

I posted about this two devices rumored to be unveiled by Sprint at CTIA 2011. The Nexus S 4G was already made official and today the HTC Evo 3D and the View 4G should be next in line. Sprint have not done their event yet in Florida but for sure, these devices including the Nexus S 4G will be showcased and will be unveiled.
