Skype have released Skype 5.1 for Mac! The update which includes new features and fixes many known issues with the Skype app for Mac. Skype highly recommends that all Mac users upgrade their Skype to the latest version to now only get these new features but most importantly to get rid of the bugs and whatnots.
Users who are running on this updated version of Skype will now be able to easily identify who is talking in a group video call. In addition, the problem regarding the iSight Firewire webcam detection is fixed on this update. Skype 5.1's new features are listed below.

- Focus on active speakers in group calls
- Dial recently called numbers from dial pad
- Contact groups shown in on the right hand side, allowing more space in the side bar
- Call Quality Feedback
- Several minor bug fixes
