The Samsung Series 9, the Korean giant's answer to the MacBook Air, was announced during CES 2011 in Las Vegas with only one kind, the 13.3-incher. We know that Apple made two kinds of MacBook Airs, the 13-incher and then it has a little brother which is an 11-incher. I thought that the Series 9 from Samsung will only be a 13.3" laptop until today.
Samsung's website itself confirmed this. The 11-incher almost exactly matches the 13-incher Series 9 in terms of specs but the 11.6" version of the laptop carries a lesser SSD which is only at 64GB. In terms of pricing the little brother gets a tag price of $1,199.
So there you have it guys. Two brands (Apple and Samsung) offering you two slim laptops. Of course, one of them is above the other. How to find out which is above the other is all in the specs. Anyway, the same website allows you to pre-order the laptop so for those who wants the Series 9 get your credit cards ready.
