The Samsung Galaxy Grand, is probably Samsung's youngest device so far, being announced at the very last end of the year. The Galaxy Grand is a smartphone that runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and sports a huge 5.0" display (nope, it ain't an AMOLED). The smartphone comes in two versions, the I9080 and the I9082. The I9082 is a dual-SIM version of the device. This is probably the first device sporting a huge display that supports two SIMs. Anyway, like any other Samsung announcements, the device is not yet scheduled or given a date on when it will make its way into store neither did the price. Expect it to be available in 2013, though.

This smartphone, together with its brother, the HTC 8S, was announced in the Philippines back in November.

The Huawei Ascend D Quad XL, according to a report by YugaTech, has arrived in the Philippines. This device was first announced by Huawei during the Mobile World Congress 2012. Unfortunately, it is only today that the device has come through to the Philippines. Anyway, I do not have any idea how much the Chinese-company is pricing the device in the country but if you see them in stores, it should be around 25,000-30,000 pesos. For those who still does not know the specs of the Ascend Quad D XL, head over here.

With regards to its availability in other markets outside Mexico, is yet to be known. But, by the looks of it this is surely a smartphone that will be sold worldwide. The Lumia 505 will not be upgraded to Windows Phone 8, unfortunately, and will only stay on the version of Windows Phone that it has when it comes out from the box. Head after the break to check out the device's specs.

So, back to the Lumia 620, the device is said to be friendly for those who are on a budget because Nokia will be selling the device at an estimated price of only US$249! But the price is just one thing in the puzzle, we still have to see the specs of this device if that price point is rightful for it's specs. You can also download this update manually via the Google Chrome download page.
The Chinese company named, Meizu, has announced the successor apparent of the MX line of smartphones. The Meizu MX 2 which is now available in the Chinese market, runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and sports a, what sounds like an in-house processor, the MX5S quad-core CPU. I am not sure if this smartphone will make it outside the Chinese market but it really is a stunning smartphone that can pretty much challenge those flagship Android smartphones out there. It carries an HD display measuring at 4.4" and an 8MP back-illuminated camera. By the way, Meizu's Flyme UI is beautiful. It keeps the whole thing simple just like how the hardware design of the device wants to say.

Which means you have to download the software first before you can actually update your device. Today though, a report by PocketNow says that the Nexus 7's update is now pushing via OTA. Google has also posted on their Android Developers blog the details that Android 4.2 Jelly Bean has and what it will give your devices. Cheers!

It is the world's first device to sport a 1080p display in a 5" big screen. It's a bit smaller than the Galaxy Note II and even the Note I but it is, apparently, a phablet. Verizon will be offering the device for $199.99 with a 2-year contract starting November 19. But it is currently available for pre-orders.

Google has released Chrome 23 to the world of stability, I mean to the stable world. But before I continue, let me take this opportunity to congratulate US President Barack Obama for his re-election. Anyway, back to Chrome 23. When I updated my Chrome, I immediately went to the options page to check what are the stuff added into the browser. There were two things I saw there that were not in Chrome 22. 1) The option to open the page where you left chrome and 2) the 'Do not track' option under the advanced settings page.

It's not only Sony Mobile's Xperia TL that is getting all the spotlight at AT&T because the LG Optimus G is also available via AT&T. Like the Xperia TL to the Xperia T, the LG Optimus G is the same as the international version of the same device. It is LG's latest Android flagship smartphone. But unlike the international version, AT&T's Optimus G will be getting just the 1.5GHz dual-core processor. The good thing though is that the dual-core chip inside the Optimus G is that the Optimus G is getting the 1.5Ghz Krait Qualcomm Snapdragon MDM9215M APQ8064 dual-core processor with an Adreno 320 GPU.
