ViewSonic ViewPad 10Pro sports an Intel Oak Trail processor - Android tablet with Windows 7 OS
Ok, don't get confused with the title I just made with this post. It basically means that the ViewSonic ViewPad 10Pro runs on the Android platform but can also "boot" the Windows 7 OS. But don't get too excited with the "dual-boot" idea of it all. The device, by the way, is also showcased in at Computex 2011.

ViewSonic ViewPad 7x tried to be the world's first 7-inch Honeycomb tablet
Would you look at that? A 7-inch tablet running on the tablet optimized platform, Android Honeycomb, is being showcased at Computex 2011 by ViewSonic. Dubbed as the ViewSonic ViewPad 7x, the company will try to be the world's first to launch a 7-inch tablet running on the said platform. Base on the photos of the device, the tablet has a UI overlay on it and it looks nice, for me.

PHIL: ViewSonic V350 Two Smart - Dual-SIM Android Smartphone announced in the Philippines
Aside from the high-end ViewSonic ViewPad 4 (a smartphone rather than a tablet), ViewSonic have announced in the Philippines the arrival of another Android powered smartphone. The ViewSonic V350 Two is the first dual-SIM Android smartphone to come in the Philippines (and I believe in the world too - but I could be wrong). The smartphone, also like the ViewPad 4 was announced in the country but did not get any price tag. The company is expected to launch the device in the first week of May and with it's dual-SIM feature of it all this will definitely be a hit in the Philippines.

PHIL: ViewSonic ViewPad 4 arrives in the Philippines to be available by the end of the month
The ViewSonic ViewPad 4 is the company's first first smartphone that was announced back during CES 2011 in Las Vegas. ViewSonic, more known to be an LCD display manufacturer does not fear the mobile world. In the Philippines, ViewSonic have announced and unveiled the ViewSonic ViewPad 4 an Android powered smartphone that specs-wise would not disappoint. The company have said that the smartphone have arrived in the Philippines and is scheduled to be available to the public by the end of this month (April). Unfortunately, the phone still do not have any price tag but I'm betting this will be priced lesser than the big guys like HTC, Samsung, & etc.

The ViewSonic ViewPad 10 was announced last year in November which packs an Intel Atom 1.66GHz processor and is actually dual-booting. ViewSonic have announced the "immediate" availability of the device. The tablet, which apparently features a 10" (1024 x 600) touch screen display, boots either on Android 1.6 Donut or Windows OS whichever of the two you want to boot.

Android 2.4 to be released in April ViewSonic one of the first to launch
Well, according to reports from Pocket-lint, Google is preparing to release Android 2.4 Gingerbread in April. You ask, why is it still called Gingerbread? The answer, to create a division between Google's two distinctively different platforms (for tablets and smartphones) Android 2.4 Gingerbread will be the last Android version for smartphones before the Android OS (both for smartphones and tablets) will come together as one, well, I think that's what Google wants in the future.

ViewSonic ViewPad 7 officially announced and is officially "the world's first 7 inch Android 2.2 tablet"
Photo grabbed from Unwired ViewI actually read about this tablet before, leaks, rumors and what not. This was also in my feeds yesterday of photos of it being leaked but I said, nope, I won't post about you until you get official. Reason? Because, its my first time to hear about ViewSonic. Setting my ignorance aside, the latest about this tablet right here is that it is already official and is officially the "world's first 7inch tablet Android 2.2 tablet with phone functionality", their first, ahead of Samsung with their Galaxy S Tab.
Photo grabbed from Unwired ViewViewSonic is more know to be a company making LCDs and plasma displays, but hey Samsung way back then was never a mobile phone manufacturer let alone a tablet manufacturer. This tablet right here, dubbed as the ViewPAd 7 (for 7 inches) is the first tablet to have a 7 inch touch screen display with a screen resolution of 800 x 480. I think that resolution is just right for a 7 incher, my basis? Samsung's Galaxy Tab which also has an 800 x 480 resolution. Other features of the tablet are WiFi, 3G, A-GPS, a 3MP camera rear and front (VGA) and a MicroSD support. Price tag, at around $540 and launch date is not an exact date though but it is reported to be on October or later.
The ViewSonic ViewPad 7 will be presented at IFA Berlin (3 – 8 September). Samsung’s Galaxy Pad will also be showcased there.
Last year, ViewSonic unveiled plans to enter the smartphone market, too, but since then the company remained quiet on the matter. I think its first smartphone will run Android, since its first tablet does – we’ll see.
