HTC Evo 3D officially announced by Sprint at CTIA 2011



So, this is the HTC Evo 3D? It looks like the HTC Desire HD but of course this phone right here announced by Sprint at the CTIA 2011, packs a revamped internals. It is also HTC's and Sprint's first 3D capable device. Verizon has the Thunderbolt, AT&T has the Inspire 4G, and then Sprint has the Evo 3D, where's T-Mobile's share of the 4.3 incher from HTC?



Anyway, the device you see in the photo is the actual Evo 3D that BGR was able to get a hands-on. 

HTC Evo 3D specs:

  • 4.3" qHD 3D (960 x 450) touchscreen display (autostereoscopic)
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 5MP rear facing camera

  • HD video recording and 3D images and videos (3D video recording at 720p)
  • 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot capability (supports up to 8 WiFi devices)
  • 4GB internal memory
  • Up to 32GB of external storage via a microSD card slot
  • WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
  • Stereo Bluetooth
  • Integrated GPS
  • 1,730 mAh battery

With regards to the pricing and availability, the latter is pointed at a Summer launching. With the pricing, "will be shared closer to launch."
