Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo starts receiving the Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread update


Sony Ericsson promised that Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread will be pushed to all their smartphones come October of 2011 which was announced together with their introduction of the SE Neo V. According to reports, users from Northern Europe and the Netherlands have said that they have started receiving the Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread update for their Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo.

UK: Red Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo now available at Vodafone from £26 a month


The Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, the company's way of still being visible in the upper mod-range category of smartphones was already launched in the UK via Expansys. At least finally, the smartphone made it after it was delayed. You might have also heard of the news that Vodafone UK will be exclusively offering a different colored Xperia Neo. If you have not guessed that color yet, its a red Neo that they will be offering exclusively starting from £26/month.

UK: Sony Ericsson Neo now available via Expansys for £379.99

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, announced back in MWC 2011, this smartphone was not able to reach the UK in time due to some earthquakes in Japan. The smartphone was, at least, given an official time when it will be launched in Europe but in the UK, it will be launched in August 4th according to Exansys. The third party retailer also puts the handset on pre-order and have stated on their site that the Xperia Neo is due August 4th. Well, this is what my source (UV) said and has a photo to prove it. But when I got to Expansys' website the phone is currently available and 14 are available in stock "now".

Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo to finally launch in the first week of July in Europe

Said to be launched in the UK in April 19th, which apparently did not happen due to a delay after the Japan earthquake, the Xperia Neo is now finally given a launch date. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo will officially be launch in Europe by the first week of July. This is evidenced by Sony Ericsson Italy and Netherdlands' tweets.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo shipment delayed until July due to Japan earthquakes


We all know that a tragic event happened in Japan last month and my heart goes to the people of Japan. As a result to that disaster Sony Ericsson have announced via their Italian Facebook Page. The announcement said that due to the events in Japan the shipment of the Xperia Neo will be delayed. Now, July is the target month when the device will start shipping. Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo to arrive in the UK on April 19th


The Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, announced during Mobile World Congress 2011, is a mid-range Android 2.3 smartphone with a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a 3.7" touch screen display, and an 8MP rear facing camera. Sony Ericsson have already announced and launched the Xperia Neo in the Philippines. The United Kingdom now gets their own taste of one of SE's latest smartphone offering.

Sony Ericsson have announced the Xperia Arc and the Xperia Neo in the Philippines! Aside from being announced, both handsets also got their Philippine peso price tags. But we'll do this one phone at a time, first is the Xperia Arc.

Sony Ericsson unveils the Xperia Neo & Xperia Pro

And here comes, officially, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, which was touted to be the next iteration of the Vivaz. The photo clearly shows the resemblance of the Xperia Neo to the Vivaz. Anyway, during Sony Ericsson's event in Barcelona, Spain they were showcasing three smartphones first was the Xperia Arc, the Xperia Neo, Xperia Pro, and then the Xperia Play.
