Apple Watch unveiled

Aside from the new iPhones, Apple has announced their first smartwatch dubbed as the Apple Watch. The new smartwatch has a square screen and has different variants, if you like, the Watch Sport (middle of the photo) and the  Watch Edition (far right). The difference is that the Watch Edition is the one with the gold around the screen. As for features, I don't like to say this, but think of Android Wear and you have the Apple Watch but of course, they have tricks up their sleeves. The Apple Watch is integrated with Apple's new digital wallet service, dubbed as Apple Pay.

Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus - Specifications & Features

Apple, earlier, have unveiled the next generation iPhone. There are two iPhones actually as you can see in the photo above, the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus. This officially brings Apple into the phablet (if you may) market and the iPhone 6 Plus would be the official Apple challenger for all the other phablets out there like Samsung's Galaxy Note 4.

Apple sends out invites for their September 9, 2014 event

Apple have started sending out invites for an event that will be on September 9, 2014. Now what could they be unveiling or talking about during that event? Probably some iPhones? The rumor mill and even the leakage mill have been churning out photos and whatnots about the upcoming iPhone 6. Their might be two sizes of iPhones one that will let Apple enter the phablet (if you may) market. But who knows. Mark your calendars!

The iPad Mini with Retina display

Together with the iPad Air, Apple has also upgraded its very successful iPad Mini. The tablet you see at the right of the photo above is the new iPad Mini now packing a 7.9" Retina display. And since this is an upgrade from the predecessor, the new iPad Mini (iPad Mini 2) sports the same A7 processor the iPhone 5S and the iPad Air sports. The iPad Mini 2 will be available in the US starting late November (no exact date) starting from $399 for the 16GB (WiFi only) up to $699 (WiFi only) for the 128GB variant. I will be posting a price list below for the other versions of the tablet.

The iPad Air

Apple has unveiled the upgrades of their tablets! First we have the iPad Air which will apparently take over the throne from its predecessor and will be the 5th iPad in Apple's portfolio (excluding the Mini). The iPad Air will still sport a 9.7" IPS Retina display but will have a pumped up CPU which is now the Apple A7 with M7 motion processor. The iPad Air, as what the name itself would suggest is lighter than the 4th gen iPad. According to Apple, the iPad Air is 28% lighter and is 20% thinner. With regards to its availability, the iPad Air will be available in the US starting November 1 for $499 (16GB - WiFi Only) and up to $799 (128GB -WiFi only).

The Apple iPhone 5S - "The Most Forward-Thinking Smartphone in the World"

And here is Apple's 2013 flagship smartphone, the iPhone 5S. Apparently, it is the iPhone 5 but with 3 new things added into it, aside from the obvious iOS 7. The iPhone 5S still has a 8MP rear shooter, but according to Apple, the sensor is improved and still takes great photos but now with bigger pixels. Another cool technology or feature included in the iPhone 5S is Touch ID. If you look at the other photos of the iPhone 5S on this post, you can see that the home button is different compared to the other iPhones even with that of the iPhone 5C. The thing that makes it different is the fingerprint scanner incorporated into it. With Touch ID purchasing apps on iTunes will be much easier, no need for passwords and whatnots just scan your fingerprint and viola. The next thing that is new on this device is the Apple A7 64-bit processor. Now that is a first in the mobile industry. which is best explained by other techblogs who have deeper knowledge on the 64-bit of it all. The A7 chip comes with a dedicated motion processor named as the M7. The iPhone 5S will be available starting September 20th in the US and pricing starts at $199 for the 16GB version with a 2-year contract with either AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint.

The Apple iPhone 5C - "The most colorful iPhone yet"

Apple, yesterday, unveiled two new iPhones into their portfolio of smartphones. First was the iPhone 5C a smartphone built for the colorful and as expected for those who wants to own an iPhone but is on a budget. Yes it is plastic but is made with quality known from Apple. The things that are different on this device compared to last year's iPhone 5 is the camera (still at 8MP but with an improved sensor) and the plastic that surrounds the device. Everything else, is almost the same, I think. As for availability and pricing, the iPhone 5C will be available on pre-order starting September 13th and will be available on September 20th. As for price, the iPhone 5C's SRP is pegged at just $99 for the 16GB and with a 2-year contract all available over at Sprint, Verizon and AT&T. The 32GB is priced at $199 with a 2-year contract.

PHIL: Smart and Globe will be launching the iPhone 5 come December 14

The Philippines' two surviving (technically speaking) carriers will be offering the iPhone 5 come December 14! Yup, it is probably the most awaited smartphone in 2012 and the Philippine market will finally get their share of the excitement. Smart and Globe will both be offering the device for Free if you get it with a 2-year contract under their Plan 2499. We are talking about the iPhone 5 16GB if you want to get the iPhone with a higher storage capacity, then you'd have to look beyond plan 2499 to get the device for free.

USA: The Apple iPad Mini and iPad 4 now available from Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T

The newest iOS device that Apple has made (among others), the iPad Mini is now available via Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T. This is the 7.9-incher iPad that sports 4G LTE and is apparently able to give you 4G internet speeds if you get it from either of these carriers. Verizon is offering the iPad Mini for $459.99 (16GB), $559.99 (32GB), and $659.99 (64GB). AT&T is offering it for $359.99 (16GB), $459.99 (32GB), and $559.99 (64GB). These offers fro AT&T requires you to be committed to the carrier for 2-years which is unlike Verizon's offer because Verizon only requires a "month to month service". Sprint is offering the iPad Mini too. Sprint and Verizon have the same pricing for the iPad Mini.

USA: iPad 4 now available via Verizon and AT&T

Launched back in late October, the 4th generation iPad is now available from Verizon and AT&T. Other markets too should be getting this tablet. You might want to check your local Apple Online Store if the iPad 4 is already available. The countries that are included in today's launch are here. Pricing is also available on that same link. Anyway, for those who are in the US, Verizon and AT&T are the first carriers to carry the tablet and are already selling them now. If you want to own one, you can either go to the US Apple Online Store, or head to the nearest Verizon or AT&T stores.

The MacBook Pro 13 with Retina Display

Aside from announcing the two new iPads, Apple also announced the new MacBook Pro 13 which now sports that awesome Retina Display. The 13-incher MBP sports a 13.3" display with a resolution of 2560x1600. That's huge by any standards. Anyway both the new Macs will be available right now, I believe, both in the online Apple Store and at Apple retail stores starting at $1699 with the MacBook Pro 13 with 128GB of internal storage.

The iPad 4

Apple actually called this device in their press release the 4th Generation iPad and on their website as the iPad with Retina Display but for ease and quick understanding and recognition, I will be calling the new iPad as the iPad 4. Anyway, yup! Apple announced the iPad 4 together with it's little brother, the iPad Mini. The iPad 3 was announced back in March and with that, the iPad 4 will be the 2nd iPad (if you do not count the iPad Mini) to be announced within the same year. The question that lingers in my head now is if Apple will announce another iPad for 2013, I believe they will and we will be calling that one as the iPad 5.

The iPad Mini

And there it is. After being rumored and leaked in the past several months, Apple's smaller iPad, the iPad Mini, is finally official after being announced and unveiled during an event Apple specifically called for to announce this little guy here. The iPad Mini sports a 7.9" display to basically let it compete with other tablets that sport a non-10.1 device. Most of these devices runs on Android. I think Apple is trying to make a statement here. Which, personally, should be what the Cupertino-based company should be doing because in the current world of tech and mobile devices, the market wants more options rather than being stuck with one, so yeah, this is all good news not only to Apple fans but also to those who wants to own an iPad but just can't afford to buy one.

Apple sends out invites for an Oct. 23 event - iPad Mini

Apple has apparently sent out invites to an October 23 event in San Francisco. The invite, like all other Apple invites need to be deciphered before you can get what it is trying to say. So, let's decode this one. On the invite it says "We've got a little more to show you." Back that thought with rumors and leaks of a smaller version of the iPad and you'd know that the event will mainly introduce the iPad Mini. "Little", get it? Other news and reports say that Apple is also ready to unveil a new Mac. I have already entered this event into my calendar and I should be posting about whatever Apple will be unveiling that day. Cheers!

iOS 6 was available for download since earlier, I believe. The next iteration of the world's smartest mobile platform is available to the iPhone 3GS, 4, 4S, and of course the iPhone 5. It is also compatible with the iPod Touch 4th Gen and 5th Gen, and the iPad 2 and the New iPad. The Apple iPhone 5

And the crown and jewel of Apple, the iPhone 5. To start things of, it is not exactly an entirely new design but rather it's kind of like a work around of an already brilliant iPhone 4/4S. It sports a 4" Retina display, yeah a bit larger than what it precedes but not that much but take note, the resolution and the quality of the Retina screen is the same, how? They did not really make the screen bigger, technically, they just stretched it (you will notice later that the resolution is a bit different from the the iPhone 4 and 4S). The device will also be running on iOS 6 with an upgraded Siri (which can now post on your Facebook wall) and will come with the new EarPods too. According to Phil Schiller, the iPhone 5 is the world's thinnest smartphone, which comes to a 7.6mm thickness. The iPhone 5 will be available starting September 21 in the US (via AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and in Apple Retail stores), UK, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore. Customers can pre-order the device starting September 14th and is priced (in the US) at $199 for the 16GB, $299 for the 32GB, and $399 for the 64GB variants. The iPhone 5 will come in either white or black slate. And I forgot to mention, this is Apple's first 4G LTE iPhone.

The Apple iPod Touch 5th Gen

And the world's most popular music player, the iPod Touch in its 5th generation livery! Like the iPod Nano, the new iPod Touch gets these new colors for you to choose from. The 5th gen iPod Touch will be sold in pink, yellow, blue, white & silver, black & slate starting September 14th via the online Apple Store. For pricing, the 32GB is priced at $299 and the 64GB at $399. iOS 6 will be running in the device out from the box and yes! Siri is in the iPod Touch! The device will be sporting Apple's A5 chip though would love it to have the new A6 chip but the A5 should work well with the music player.

Apple announced the new iPod Nano

Yesterday, the world waited, watched and wow-ed at the new products that Apple has unveiled to the world. One of those products is the new iPod Nano. Nope, it ain't iOS but Apple has done a great job in giving the Nano a revamping. The thinnest iPod ever sports a 2.5" touchscreen display and comes with Apple's new EarPods.
