Samsung 9 Series ultrathin laptop specs (thinner than the MacBook Air) and availability

The ultrathin laptop from Samsung, the 9 Series, is set to challenge the MacBook Air for the thinness category. It wins in the weight department and is at par with the MacBook Air's thinness. When I posted a blog about Samsung's announcement of the laptop my source did not have any date on when it will be available, but gladly they do have now.

Samsung gave out a press release on the said device which includes the laptop's specs so i'll be listing them here. Also, the press release stated the the laptop has "an ultra-thin 0.64 inch profile" which basically makes it thinner than the MacBook Air.

  • 13.3" LED backlit SuperBright Plus display at 400-nit brightness
