Nokia unveils new font face and branding - Nokia Pure

Nokia Pure
Nokia, the Finnish mobile manufacturer and in fact the world's largest mobile phone maker, have unveiled their new font and branding that we should expect and see in products, packaging, and ads, within 2011. This is entirely Stephen Elops way of moving the company forward. Also, the font they have just unveiled looks similar or familiar for those who have used a phone with WP7 running in it. You get it? Microsoft and Nokia's partnership.

The new font is called Nokia Pure and will be in their devices, packaging, and ads when the company starts using it. The font is said to embody the motion of moving forward.
"well, pure and simple, but the letters flow into each other somewhat, creating the impression of forward movement." - Nokia Conversations

That is how Nokia Pure will look like in a phone. But their blog notes that this is not a preview of how their new and upcoming devices' interface will look like. It is more of how and where Nokia Pure will be going, much like a vision of what's more to come.

So, new font and branding, Nokia Pure. Expect it soon!
