Mozilla Firefox 4 gets updated to version 4.0.1


Ok, this is officially Firefox 4's first update. The latest version of Firefox for is now at version 4.0.1 which includes the usual security and performance enhancements. But aside from those usual stuff the browser also gets some other things. One of those things is the "Awesome Bar" and customization with over 5,000 add-ons. If you are running on Firefox 4 then you can update your browser by clicking on the Firefox icon (upper left) >  Help > About Firefox by then it should start downloading Firefox 4.0.1. If you are not running on Firefox 4, head over to the Firefox webpage to download the browser from there.

Mozilla released Firefox 4 for Android and Maemo devices


Firefox 4 for mobile, actually just for Android and Maemo, is now available for download. The non-profit organization have finally announced the release of their mobile browser and to all those who are Android and Maemo users you can now download the application.

Mozilla Firefox 4 after 48 hours - infograph



Mozilla, the company or community responsible for one of the most popular browsers in the world, Firefox, have made a very informative inforgraph of the Firefox 4. The infograph basically tells us, again, how Firefox rules the browser market. Other competitors vying to get a piece or a chunk of that market like, Google Chrome, Opera and Internet Explorer just seem to just stare at the master do its stuff. But, of course, Google Chrome's popularity and rise is not something we can just ignore. Anyway, head over the break to check out Mozilla's infographic photo that they have made.

Mozilla releases Firefox 4 RTM now available for download



It's March 22, the date when Mozilla said they will be launching the RTM or the Final stable version of the Firefox 4 browser. It is now available for download for the Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux platforms with more than 80 languages.


Mozilla releases Firefox 4 Release Candidate for Android and Maemo devices


Mozilla have just released the Release Candidate of their Firefox 4 for mobile devices. The browser is available for Android and Maemo device which can be downloaded over at the Android Market or for download if you are using a Maemo device. This rel;ease offers the user a much faster mobile web experience, faster scrolling, and  "better responsiveness with Firefox Sync".

Finally! Firefox 4 is out of Beta - download release candidate now


Mozilla finally exits Firefox 4 from its Beta phase! Firefox 4 RC (Release Candidate) is now out for public download for Windows, Linux, and Mac. Of course, it comes with improvements like enhanced performance and stability and HTML5 capabilities. The final release is really coming close, but today let us just be happy with Firefox 4 RC.
