Sony Ericsson working on a Windows Phones 7 device?

Sony Ericsson might be in rough waters today, with very disappointing devices that aren't at par with what's in the market today, at least for the software section of it all. It has been reported that Sony Ericsson is developing or is actively working on a device that will run on Windows Phone 7. Sony Ericsson has been struggling in trying to put a distinction in the market when it comes to smartphones. The SE Xperia 10 is not helping the company put a mark on the market. Good specs not so good software is not adding to a good equation.

HP confirms PalmPad out by early 2011

HP's Personal Device Division Chief, Todd Bradley, confirmed that a tablet from HP running on WebOS, from Palm (Acquired by HP), will be available in early 2011. Bradly, eagerly wants to hold 17% of the tablet market by 2013, he said. The tablet market is expected to growth in the future and will be a $40 Billion dollar market in “in a few years”.
"And they just may do well. Their tablet will be the only one running WebOS (possibly WebOS 2.0), and in a world that emphasizes software and user experience a lot more than sheer hardware specs, their OS might be exactly the differentiating factor they need. By early 2011, the market will probably be flooded with many Android-based tablets, with only minor spec differences between them – a fact that may confuse consumers and drive them towards HP’s offering."

Skype and social networking giant, Facebook, to become partners

It is reported that the internet communications giant Skype and the social networking giant Facebook will partner in the future, "several weeks" to be not so exact. So what do you think it would become if both of them join hands? Something like this:

The partnership is said to allow Skype users to send SMS and call (with or without video) their Facebook friends. With Facebook's 500 Million users and also Skype's 500 Million users, I think the internet should be ready taking in the over load of data. Skype version 5 will be equipped with this Facebook integration and will be released in several weeks in beta phase.
