IND: HTC Desire X officially launched in India for Rs. 19,799


HTC in India has officially launched the HTC Desire X. The Taiwan-based phone maker has given it an SRP which stands at Rs. 19,799. For those who are in India, you should be able to see the Desire X being displayed and sold at HTC Stores. The HTC Desire X, runs on Android 4.0 ICS, and sports a dual-core processor with a 4" display. This should be a pretty good smartphone for the ordinary user, those users that really does not require high-end specs to get through the day.

IND: Samsung Galaxy Note II launched in India for Rs. 39,900


Indians should be excited about this because the Samsung Galaxy Note II was already launched in the country with an SRP of Rs. 39,900. You should be able to see the Galaxy Note II in stores throughout India. There is no word yet about which carrier will be offering the device tied up with a 2-year commitment (so that everything will be much more affordable). From this day until that day comes, it seems the Galaxy Note II will just be available unlocked.

IND: The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 available in India for 39,900 Rs.


In the Indian market, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 or called there as the Note 800 was made available for 39,900 Rs. The price, according to some reports are a bit high but Samsung probably is trying to put value into that price with features that we all know the Galaxy Note 10.1 has. India and the UK gets the Samsung Omnia M


The Samsung Omnia M, that Samsung Smartphone that runs on Windows Phone announced back in May was announced in India and is said to be available in the UK in August 1. For the Indian market, the smartphone's product page is now up and Samsung gave the device a price of Rs 16,400 which can be bought right from the company's website. In the UK, on the other hand, Phones4U is said to be offering the device 2months before any other retailer would in that specific market. Phones4U offers the device, SIM-free, for £289.95 but you can also get it tied up with carriers.

IND: LG officially launched the Optimus 4X HD and Optimus L5 in India


LG in India has officially launched two Android smartphones namely the LG Optimus 4X HD and the Optimus L5. This would then be LG's first quad-core smartphone to land in the Indian market, the 4X HD. Both of these smartphones run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich both with LG's Optimus 3.0 UI. Consumers in India should be able to find these devices "soon". Yup, unfortunately no definite dates yet. But for pricing, the Optimus 4X HD will sell for Rs. 34,990 while the Optimus L5 will sell for Rs. 13,199.

IND: HTC Desire V launched in India with dual-sim feature


In third-world markets a feature like dual-sim support in a smartphone will always be a big hit. In the Philippines, phones with dual-sim support are not only economically it also saves you from carrying two handsets, or more, because of the different network carriers that offer different kinds of promos and whatnots to customers. I am made to believe that this is also the case in India. The Indian mobile phone market is one of those markets that love dual-sim smartphones or handsets. With that in mind, the HTC Desire V was launched in the country for Rs. 21,999. Popular Indian retailer, Flipkart, is offering the device for the said price and promises to deliver it right on your doorsteps 6-8 business days after you ordered it from them. Since this is the first time I am posting regarding the device, head over the break for the phone's specs.

IND: Samsung officially launches the Galaxy S III in India with an SRP of Rs. 43,180


The Samsung Galaxy S III is also launched in the Indian market with an official price of Rs 43,180. For a start only the 16GB version of the device will be available in the second largest mobile phone market in the world. The 32GB, probably a bit of waiting is needed. Anyway, this Galaxy S III will have 1GB of RAM and not that variant of the same device that will sport 2GB. Needless to say, even if it only has the common 1GB RAM, the smartphone will still be able to do its job without any problems.

IND: Sony Mobile launched the Xperia Sola, P, and U in India


Sony Mobile Communications has officially launched three of their NXT line of smartphones in the Indian market. These smartphones are the Sony Xperia Sola, Xperia P, and the Xperia U. The Xperia Sola, with its Magic Touch technology, was already available for pre-order in the country a while back and now it has officially arrived in India. Anyway, its basically the pricing that is what we want from this post so head over the break.

IND: BlackBerry 9320 launched in India for Rs 15,990


The recently announced BlackBerry Curve 9320 is now officially announced in the Indian market. The device has it's SRP in India and it stands at Rs. 15,990. The Curve 9320, unlike it's little brother the Curve 9220, sports 3G connectivity and has that great design on it. People in India should be able to see the device in stores by now. IND: The Android 4.0 ICS update for the Samsung Galaxy Note officially started rolling out in India


Samsung has officially started rolling out the Android 4.0 ICS update for the Samsung Galaxy Note in India. The update is otherwise known as the Premium Suite which will not only bump your Galaxy Note up to Android 4.0 but will also bring in more stuff you can do with the S-Pen and more editing options. The update is administered via OTA or you can run Samsung Kies on your desktop and plug in your Galaxy Note. Enjoy updating!

IND: Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) and the Galaxy S III are now available for pre-orders in India


Samsung India has officially put two Android devices for pre-order on their Samsung eStore. These devices are the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) and the Samsung Galaxy S III. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is priced by Samsung at Rs. 23,250 and that is for the 3G + WiFi version of the device and sports 8GB of internal storage. The Galaxy S III on the other hand is priced over at the same eStore at Rs. 2000. That probably is a typographical error on their part of I do not know what.

IND: Sony Xperia Sola available for pre-order at Rs. 19,999


Sony announced this device back in March with a new technology incorporated into the device, Magic Touch. The Sony Xperia Sola, in India, is now available for pre-order, probably the first market to get the device. Flipkart is the store to thank for this pre-order chance and they are pricing it at Rs.19,999. For those who does not know the Xperia Sola yet, click on that link which says "Xperia Sola". And for those who are in India, head over at Flipkart to start the pre-ordering process. The store is expected to ship the device in the 4th week of May.

IND: Sony Xperia S launched priced at INR 32,549


Last April 10, when it was announced to launch, Sony Mobile's Xperia S has officially became available in India with a price tag of INR 32,549. For those who are in India, you should be able to find the Sony Xperia S in most retail stores priced more or less that SRP. While the Xperia S is already selling in the country, the Xperia P, Xperia U, and the Xperia Sola should be launched in May.

IND: Sony Xperia S to be available in India come April 10


Sony Mobile India is ready to launch the Sony Xperia Shttp://j.mp/Ac2S9o in the country come April 10th. The company's official Facebook Page announced that. The smartphone will come with accessories for free that is worth $80 and of course that 50GB of cloud storage courtesy of Box. Sony Mobile did not say anything about how much the device will cost in India but according to a popular retailer in the country, LetsBuy, it should be priced at Rs. 32,500. IND: Asus launched the Transformer Prime in India for Rs. 49,999


Asus in India has launched the Transformer Prime Android Honeycomb tablet. Apparently, the world's first quad-core device, Asus has given the device an SRP of Rs. 49,999. With that price, you'd be getting a 10.1" Super IPS+ LCD display with a screen resolution at 1280x800, Android 3.2 Honeycomb, a 1GHz nVidia Tegra 3 processor, 1GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and so on. IND: Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos, Galaxy Y Duos, & Galaxy Y Pro Duos announced in India


Samsung India announced 3 dual-sim smartphones running on Android in the market. These smartphones are the Samsung Galaxy Y Duos, Galaxy Y Pro Duos, and the Galaxy Ace Duos. I was able to post about the former two but the latter one, the Galaxy Ace Duos I was not able to post about. Anyway, These three new smartphones introduced in the Indian market should start arriving in a few days.

IND: Samsung launches the Galaxy Tab 7.7 in India


In India, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is now available over at Flipkart, which offers the device for Rs. 33,571. This Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet was announced back in 2011 in IFA Berlin and you know what happened there right? Anyway, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 sports a 7.7" Super AMOLED Plus display, the first in any tablet, and a 1.4GHz dual-core processor.

IND: LG Optimus Sol now available in India for Rs 16,990


The LG Optimus Sol, the successor of the Optimus One, is now available in India. The handset was announced by the Korean phone maker back in August of 2011 and, as far as TechPump is concerned, is first launched in India for Rs. 16,990. IND: Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman Android smartphone launched in India


The Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman is officially launched in India with an SRP of Rs. 14,549. Announced way back then in 2011, the Live with Walkman is one of those Walkman Android smartphones that SE was able to produce before, of course, SE eventually became Sony Mobile Communications. IND: Samsung Wave M now available for Rs. 12,500

The Samsung Wave M is now available in India with an SRP of Rs 12,500. This is one of those Bada 2.0 powered smartphones that Samsung unveiled back then. The Wave M sports an 832MHz processor, a 3.65" HVGA display, a 5 MP rear facing camera, VGA front, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, and a 1,350 mAh battery.
