HTC Incredible 2 gets photoed flaunts its Verizon branding

Who would forget one of the best, if not the best, Android phone? Verizon's Droid Incredible is soon getting a successor. It would apparently be the recently announced HTC Incredible S. Proof? Head over the break to check out a leaked photo of the Incredible S with Verizon branding.

The Incredible 2, so named to make it pretty obvious that this phone is set to succeed the Droid Incredible, is the US version of the HTC Incredible S. When HTC announced the smartphone at Mobile World Congress 2011, the phone is and will be running on Android 2.2 Froyo. Endgadget have received word that when the handset will be shipping in the US it will be ported with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. 

HTC Incredible S specs:

• Android 2.2 Froyo (will be updated to 2.3 Gingerbread)
• 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 processor
• 768 MB of RAM (at par with the Desire HD and Inspire 4G)
• 4" Super LCD (800 x 480) touch screen display
• 8 MP rear camera dual-LED flash
• Full HD video recording at 720p
• 1.3 MP front camera
• WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
• Bluetooth 2.0
• The capacitive buttons are fluid, actually able to rotate with the screen to landscape mode
• 1,450 mAh battery

We still do not have a date on when the phone will be available in the US soil and the pricing. So I will be updating you if any information comes up with regards to this handset.
