AUS: HTC Incredible S from Optus gets Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread update


Optus' HTC Incredible S have already started to receive its Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread update which is being administered OTA. The update will bring the smartphone's Sense UI up to Sense 3.0 which, everyone who updates, should notice a big difference from. You can check the update if it is already available for you by tapping through Settings > About Phone > Software Updates.

UK: HTC Desire HD and the Incredible S will be getting the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update starting May 16


The HTC Desire HD and the Incredible S' Android 2.3 Gingerbread have started to roll out in the continent of Europe but that seems to have not reached the UK yet. HTC is said to start rolling out the much awaited Gingerbread update on these said smartphones in the UK starting May 16. Take note that the smartphone we are talking about here are those that are bought unlocked and SIM-free. Expect notifications on your devices on the said day and with regards to subsidized phones in the UK, you might still have to wait for your carriers to release their updates since they are the main reason why updates are halted for their own customization on the phone's software. Also, HTC said that the update will be gradually rolled out so not everyone will get it on the same day but the company have said that on May 16 the roll out will start.

HTC Desire HD and Incredible S gets Android 2.3 Gingerbread update

 A lot of good news today, updates actually. To add to software updates, HTC has officially released the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update to the HTC Desire HD and the HTC Incredible S starting today. The update will be OTA and for the Desire HD and Incredible S owners should start getting notifications that an update is available for their devices.

AUS: HTC Incredible S coming to Australia


The HTC Desire S is already being sold in Australia via MobiCity, even if it was not announced by HTC to launch in the country, it seems that another phone not announced to be launched is coming it's way into the Australian market. The HTC Incredible S is currently being sold by the same retailer, MobiCity, for AUS$ 629.

HTC Desire HD, Desire Z, Incredible S, and the HTC Desire will all be updated to Gingerbread


HTC have promised that their recently announced HTC Incredible S will be getting some Gingerbread treat soon. Today, we have a definite time when that will actually happen. HTC have said that the Incredible S will be getting the update by the end of Q2 (2011). That would give the Incredible S owners 4 months of waiting. Regardless of the update coming not so quick as what HTC would like to call it, for as long as its an update, I know that everyone would love to get it.

HTC Incredible S starts shipping in UK via Vodafone and O2


This is quick, the recently announced HTC Incredible S at the Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona, Spain is now shipping in the UK! The phone was available for pre-orders via Mobiles.co.uk and is a very short pre-ordering period ever, I think.

HTC announces the HTC Desire S, Wildfire S, and Incredible S


The quietly brilliant Taiwanese company announced, aside from their tablet, a slurry of Android smartphones refreshing their current line up of phones, basically. Three smartphones were announced at MWC 2011 namely the HTC Incredible S, Desire S, and the Wildfire S. I'll be taking it one at a time.
