The former Google CEO, Eric Schmidt, had the stage all by himself during Google's keynote at the Mobile World Congress 2011. He talked about a lot of things. Aside from those statistics and whatnots he mentioned something about the mobile OS, Android, that made every techblog blog.

Samsung Exec says tablets should be bigger than 7"

Samsung have already unveiled the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and a Samsung Exec have just said that tablets should be bigger than 7 inches. Well, does he mean that Samsung does not consider their first "tablet", the original 7" Galaxy Tab, a tablet? Dr WP Hong, the exec who uttered those words have also confirmed that Samsung will be expanding their tablet devices but won't be a 7-incher. He have said that 10.1" is the best size for a tablet, well what do you know? He also stated that "internally" they are in the works of planning the next update but have not come into a decision yet. Well, it seems that what Apple have started will definitely live long and into the far future.

Unwired View was able to play a bit with the phone displayed at the booth and saw that the phone is running on Android 2.2.2 Froyo. That version of Froyo was first pushed to the Nexus One to fix bug issues, a minor update. But at least we can now safely say that the LG Revolution is running on the latest Froyo version.
