Samsung will be showcasing their in-house smartphone OS during MWC 2011, Bada 2.0 that is. But before they had the chance to showcase that version of their OS, which is said to support NFC they have already, seemingly, announced the Samsung Wave 578 (GT-S5780).
The Wave 578 is a mid-range offering from Samsung, from the looks of it, but one thing that makes this Bada powered smartphone is the inclusion of a NFC chip. Like what I've said Bada 2.0 will be supporting NFC technology but Moveplayer is saying that the 578 is running on Bada 1.2.
The phone will feature a 3.2" WQVGA touch screen display, Samsung's Social Hub, a 32.MP camera, 3.5mm headset jack, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, and the capability to do video calls.
