AUS: Vodafone Australia releases software updates to the HTC Salsa, ChaCha, Desire HD, and Sensation

Vodafone Australia released software updates to four HTC devices namely the HTC Salsa, ChaCha, Desire HD, and Sensation. 2 of these handsets will be bumped up to Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread in tow is HTC Sense 3.0. These two handsets are the HTC ChaCha and the Desire HD. The two other smartphones will be getting a maintenance update. Anyway, for instructions on how to update your devices click on the name of your smartphone for the instructions. HTC ChaCha, HTC Salsa, HTC Desire HD, and HTC Sensation.

UK: O2 UK makes the HTC Salsa in the UK free from £27

Its this Facebook-centric phone's time to shine. Just days before this news came all the attention was directed to the HTC ChaCha since the device is already being sold in the UK and was announced in the US. It's brethren, the all touchscreen Salsa, is now being sold in the UK courtesy of O2 UK.

IND: HTC officially launches the HTC Salsa in India

The HTC Salsa was already available at Letsbuy.com a few days back, with a price tag of Rs. 20,449. Today, HTC makes the availability of the HTC Salsa official in the Indian market for Rs 22,000. The HTC Salsa is one of HTC's two Facebook-centric phones, the other one of course is the HTC ChaCha. HTC's official price tag for the phone in India is a bit above what Letsbuy.com is offering it. Anyway, at least HTC has made it official and you should start seeing the phone in HTC stores.

IND: HTC Salsa now available in India

Luck comes to India! Looks like the country is among the first to get a taste of the Facebook-centric smartphone from HTC. The HTC Salsa, is one of those smartphones by HTC that was made with Facebook in mind. Of course, the other one is the HTC ChaCha. Anyway, in India, a retailer is already selling the handset and is said to be shipping the device within 4 business days.

UK: HTC ChaCha coming to the UK in June 17th - HTC Salsa and ChaCha available for pre-orders

HTC ChaCha

The HTC ChaCha, one of the two Facebook phones announced during MWC 2011, was first seen listed on Amazon Germany with a price tag. Today, Clove have announced that the HTC ChaCha will hit the UK in June 17th, at least on their stores. Also, along with that announcement is the HTC Salsa's availability in the country which will be exclusively offered by O2 UK. Clove have put a price tag on the ChaCha which they will be selling for £210 SIM-free and VAT included.

These aren't Facebook phones they are just HTC handsets that have one-touch Facebook buttons. As the name implies, press it and viola Facebook! Why am I not excited? Named the HTC ChaCha and the Salsa, these phones are built for dancing, no they are not. Anyway, the Salsa is a touch only handset while the ChaCha will make your fingers ChaCha its way onto that full QWERTY keyboard it features and HTC have just announced it.
