Acer Iconia Smart gets a September launching via Facebook

The Acer Iconia Smart, was first unveiled a long time ago (early this year) and until today it is still not yet available to interested buyers. It's been 5 months since the time they announced the "phoneblet". It would still be running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and the same things in it, it just that the Taiwan-based company is still not yet able to sell this 4.8-incher smartphone.

The smartphone sporting a gigantic 4.8" display was announced last year and it never had a name. It runs on the Android ecosystem (Yeah, I'm liking that term), and finally at the Mobile World Congress 2011, the Taiwanese has finally given it a name, the Acer Iconia Smart (which will nicely be part of Acer's Iconia devices).
