Verizon adds another LTE handset to their line up - LG Revolution

Verizon just added a new Android powered device with LTE capability to their line up in the form of the LG Revolution. This will be LG's time to shine with the Big Red after they have announced the HTC Thunderbolt, the Motorola Droid Bionic and the Samsung SCHi520 (which I will be posting about after this).

Don't you just love it when a different company announced a different phone with a very different design concept? At least, all of the mobile phone manufacturer that have already announced their smartphone offerings have all different designs. The device will be launched with Android 2.2 Froyo on board, unfortunately.

LG Revolution specs:

4.3" touch screen display with 800 x 480 resolution
Android 2.2 Froyo
5 MP Camera with LED flash
1.3 MP front facing camera
GPS with A-GPS
3.0 Bluetooth
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
microUSB port
3.5 mm headset jack
HDMI

DLNA
16 GB internal memory

External storage up to 32 GB

I did not put in the processor of the handset since there is still a confusion between two sources. My first source said that Verizon have not said anything about the processor that the device is breathing inside it neither does the RAM. So I will be updating this post once I get the info. As for the pricing and the availability of the device Verizon have not said anything about it yet.

Update: The handset might be running on Android 2.2 Froyo when you get it but is is upgradeable to Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The processor is a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, yep unfortunately not dual-core. Via: Unwired View
