LG officially unveils the LG Optimus 3D at MWC 2011

The LG Optimus 3D is officially official as the world's first glasses-free 3D smartphone.

It's a 3D phone everywhere. Consume media content in 3D, take photos and videos in 3D, and upload those 3D videos to YouTube. The LG Optimus 3D sports that amazingly cool dual-camera technology which basically is the culprit of allowing this handset to shoot stills and videos in 3D.

  • 1GHz TI (Texas Instruments) OMAP4 dual-core processor

  • 4GB LP DDR2 (RAM)
  • 8GB internal memory
  • 5MP dual-cameras (for those 3D images and videos)

LG and YouTube have both announced that 3D videos can be directly uploaded to the YouTube 3D channel, you know if you want to impress other people by shooting 3D videos, uploading them in YouTube 3D, and sharing them to your friends who does not have a 3D device (chuckles). How to upload? Well, the LG Optimus 3D will have a special 3D YouTube application where magic happens.
