nVidia showcases the power of the Kal-El quad-core chips with a game - Glowball


Remember the nVidia project Kal-El? That project they have been cooking in their kitchen rumored to be launched within this year and will give mobile devices the power of a quad-core processor? nVidia have released a video of a game to showcase the power of their Kal-El chips and did not forget to note that the chip used in the game in an Android Honeycomb tablet is not yet the production chipset which means that it can be faster when they are already in production.

Amazon prepping 2 tablets for 2011


Amazon is rumors to be prepping not one but two devices for 2011. These two devices are tablets which are bound to be launched within 2011. BGR, got the tip, but has little info about the hardware. But what they got are the codenames of the tablets. The first tablet which is said to be an "entry level" device will be named as the "Coyote" and will sport a dual-core processor specifically featuring the nVidia Tegra 2 chispet. The other tablet will be given the name as the "Hollywood" and will sport a quad-core processor which is touted to be sporting the nVidia Kal-El processor which is rumored to be produced also within this year.

nVidia intros the world's first quad-core mobile processor - Project Kal-El


You think Qualcomm and Texas Instruments are rocking those new chips they have? Think again, because the world who gave us GPUs have announced Project Kal-El. What is that? Well, its nVidia's codename  first quad-core mobile processors. These chips are expected to be fitted into tablet devices by August of 2011. If the company follows that roadmap then they are set to give us quad-core awesomeness first.
