A lot of good news today, updates actually. To add to software updates, HTC has officially released the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update to the HTC Desire HD and the HTC Incredible S starting today. The update will be OTA and for the Desire HD and Incredible S owners should start getting notifications that an update is available for their devices.

All of these info came from HTC's Europe support page. I think this applies to all HTC Desire HDs and Inredible S-es around the world. If not, then just wait some Gingerbread goodness will eventually come.
The Incredible S is available in the US as Verizon's Droid Incredible 2. UV says that these smartphones from Verizon is likely not to receive the 2.3 Gingerbread update but will be available "soon". For everyone else, upgrade to 2.3 Gingerbread and enjoy!
