LG's Nexus 4 and the Asus' Nexus 7 gets Android 4.3 Jelly Bean

This will be very short and you might be wondering why this post only has those two Nexus devices contained in it. I will be blogging about the Samsung-made devices over Samsung City. Anyway, this does not come as news since everybody knows that when Google announces or releases a new version of Android the Nexus devices will always get it immediately. When Android 4.3 Jelly Bean was announced, Google is already busy pushing the OTA update to there 4 Nexus devices including the LG made Nexus 4 and the Asus-made Nexus 7 (original). So for those who own these devices can manually check if they have the update ready and waiting if your device did not notify you of one yet.

Android 4.2 Jelly Bean pushes to the Nexus 7 and the Galaxy Nexus

Google is now pushing the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update to the Galaxy Nexus and the Nexus 7 (or the Nexus Tablet). According to reports I was able to read, the Galaxy Nexus' Android 4.2 JB update and the Nexus 7's update is a manual update. Which means you have to download the software first before you can actually update your device. Today though, a report by PocketNow says that the Nexus 7's update is now pushing via OTA. Google has also posted on their Android Developers blog the details that Android 4.2 Jelly Bean has and what it will give your devices. Cheers!

Google Nexus 7 with 32GB storage and HSPA+ variant announced

Google, aside from unveiling the Nexus 4 and the Nexus 10, has also unveiled, again, the Nexus 7. This time though, it packs a 32GB internal storage capacity and HSPA+ connectivity. The 16GB Nexus 7 will now replace the Nexus 8 at the $200 price point while the 32GB will be priced at $249. If you want to get the Nexus 7 with HSPA+ connectivity then it's for $299. All these prices are still pretty neat deals considering that the device (the new 32GB variant) will be running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean from the box. Google did not change anything on the device's specs, it still sports 1GB RAM, an nVidia Tegra 3 processor, and that 7" display.

Android 4.1.2 rolls out to the Nexus 7 brings Landscape Homescreen

Google announced over at Google Groups that a minor update to the Google Nexus 7 has been released. The update bumps the version of the device's platform to Android 4.1.2. The update is minor but it has brought in a feature that no other platform out there has ever introduced. It's the addition of the landscape homescreen feature that's the bomb from this update. That's a first, I believe, and good job Google for bringing this in.

Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update rolls out to the Galaxy Nexus and the Nexus Tablet

Some of you might have heard about the lawsuit between Samsung and Google versus Apple right? That lawsuit that would ban the Galaxy Nexus and the Galaxy Tablet from selling in US soils. Apple was successful with the injunction of the Galaxy Nexus and Google has responded that an update would take then evade that patent that Apple was accusing the devices have infringed. That update is this one. Which will bump the Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy Tablet up to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean. Google's very own tablet announced - Google Nexus Tablet

After unveiling Android 4.1 Jelly Bean yesterday at Day 1 of Google I/O, the search giant also introduced to the world their very own tablet, unsurprisingly named as the Google Nexus Tablet. The device is made by Asus and sports the latest version of Android, which is the one they announced before this device, Android 4.1. The Nexus Tablet is the world's first quad-core tablet that features a 7" display. And since this tablet is made by Asus, expect a great screen resolution on it.  The Nexus Tablet is already available for pre-order over here.
