HTC announced the HTC J Butterfly in Japan a smartphone sporting a 5" display

In Japan, that market where it gets specially designed smartphone and another one is coming to town by the name of the HTC J Butterfly. It's a brilliant phone and probably beats the hell out of the Samsung Galaxy S III. The J Butterfly was announced by Japan's KDDI and is being scheduled to be launched in the Japanese market come December.

The HTC J Butterfly sports a huge 5" Super LCD 3 display boasting a 441ppi resolution. It also boasts the biggest resolution by any smartphone, the screen sports a whooping 1920x1800 resolution. This smartphone even beats Apple's Retina display to smithereens! This is just astonishing. Aside from it's brilliant display it is said that the J Butterfly runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8064 processor with 2GB of RAM.

With those specs, this smartphone is a contender in the smartphone world and it should be. I just hope that HTC will launch this device outside the Japanese market because this is mouth watering.
