Right on time, finally. Sprint have announced that the Android 2.2 Froyo update of their Samsung Epic 4G is now available for download. It was first announced that the update will be rolled out via OTA but I think they've realized that the update was delayed for so long that waiting for the OTA to arrive would cause another pain, waiting. They have decided to make the update available via USB connection.

Microsoft releases first update for Windows Phone 7 - no copy/paste though
Monday, Microsoft announced the first update for their Windows Phone 7 platform. Before you get too excited when receiving the pop-out notification about the update, it does not yet contain the Copy-Past & multitasking feature WP7 users are wanting. This update though is in preparation for that, I believe.

Sprint to unveil the HTC 7 Pro on Thursday?
Remember the HTC 7 Pro? Its actually one of the 5 HTC WP7 devices announced together with the platform's unveiling. But the handset was only announed, it was never really seen in real life during that time. I do not know why HTC have waited so long for that device to be unveiled. Anyway, Sprint got us wondering and think though courtesy of two tweets.

Amazon Germany prices the HTC Flyer for €669 now for pre-orders
Announced without a price at the Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona, Spain, the HTC Flyer is now listed on Amazon Germany's site for pre-orders for €669. TechRadar, being a UK based techblog have done some conversions with the price to UK pounds and the tablet will cost £563. Not at all bad, knowing that devices and gadgets are far more expensive in the UK.

HTC Thunderbolt 4G priced by Best Buy for $249.99 and $299.99
Two separate flyers by Best Buy have shown two different prices of the much talked about HTC Thunderbolt 4G. One flyers puts a price tag of $299.99 and the other prices it at $249.99. We know that the handset will be launched in Feb 24th and previously I have posted about the device's price pegged at $249.99. What could Best Buy mean with these two different prices of the Verizon Wireless bound handset? It may be just an error but neither Best Buy nor Verizon have announced an official price of the smartphone yet so we might see some changes until they announce it. Best Buy flyers after the break.

BlackBerry Storm 3 (Monaco) stars in a video clip!
The next iteration of RIM's touch only smartphone stars in a video clip! It still has those wraps, covers, stickers, and whatnots but what make me excited with the BlackBerry Storm 3 is the fact that finally the device gets a capacitive touch screen display that it deserves even on previous versions of the handset.
