USA: US Cellular launches the HTC 7 Pro for $199.99

The HTC 7 Pro was first made available via Sprint in the name of the HTC Arrive. Today the phone with it's real name, is available via US Cellular for $199.99 (after a $100 mail-in rebate). The HTC 7 Pro is the only Windows Phone 7 (currently) that features a horizontal-sliding QWERTY keyboard, the Dell Venue Pro is vertical-sliding. The HTC 7 Pro is a Windows Phone 7 powered handset with a 3.6"  WVGA touchscreen display, WiFi connectivity, GPS, Bluetooth, a 5MP rear facing camera, and of course a 1GHz processor. Head over to US Cellular's website to check out the device and what they offering.

Sprint to unveil the HTC 7 Pro on Thursday?

Remember the HTC 7 Pro? Its actually one of the 5 HTC WP7 devices announced together with the platform's unveiling. But the handset was only announed, it was never really seen in real life during that time. I do not know why HTC have waited so long for that device to be unveiled. Anyway, Sprint got us wondering and think though courtesy of two tweets.

HTC 7 Pro to land on O2 Germany next week

This Windows Phone 7 was announced at the same time the OS it is running on was announced, unfortunately it was not physically available during that time. This is the only smartphone from HTC that is running on WP7 that has a physical QWERTY keyboard and yes it is still not yet available in the US (as far as my knowledge is concerned). As per checking, I am right, the device is still yet to land on US soil bound for Sprint.

HTC gives the HTC 7 Pro and HTC 7 Surround CG clips

The HTC 7 Pro and the HTC 7 Surround gets a bit of a CG (computer generated) video ad at Youtube. The HTC 7 Pro is heading to Sprint. To get some more infos of the device click here. Watch the short CG clip after the break.

Sprint offers the HTC 7 Trophy, HTC 7 Mozart and the HTC 7 Pro

Sprint gets three Windows Phone 7 devices and all of them are HTCs. The HTC 7 Trophy, HTC 7 Mozart, and the HTC 7 Pro. It seems that Sprint is loving HTC with their WP7 OS running on them. HTC have unveiled 5 WP7 devices and three of them are going to Sprint.

The HTC 7 Trophy is a touch only WP7 smartphone like the other 4 HTCs with the WP7 running on them. Only the HTC 7 Pro has a slide out QWERTY keyboard. Anyway, the smartphone pictured above has a 3.8 inch WVGA display, HSDPA, WiFi, SRS  WOW HD audio technology, a 5MP autofocus camera, HD video recording, 576 MB of RAM and 512 MB of ROM, and 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

The HTC 7 Mozart is a 3.7 inch WVGA touch screen smartphone. An 8MP autofocus camera with Xenon flash. I think based on what my source posted is the only difference from the HTC 7 Trophy.

Here's the only HTC WP7 smartphone that features a slide out QWERTY keyboard plus its a CDMA device. Unfortunately, the device will only be available in the first half of 2011 via Sprint but my source said "and maybe also via Verizon, although Microsoft said nothing about this".

Here's a snippet from my source about when, where and what HTC WP7 device will be available.
