HP releases WebOS 3.0.5

HP is not yet giving up on WebOS device owners evidently, the company just released a software update which will bring the system software of your WebOS devices up to WebOS 3.0.5. The update brings in improvements here and there. The update is administered OTA and is currently available to unlocked Pre 2 and to AT&T and Verizon Pre 2s and to unlocked Pre 3s. UK: HP Pre 3 now in stock will ship today from Clove

After a long wait and after half a year's worth of waiting, the HP Pre 3 is finally available in the UK via Clove UK. The mobile phone retailer is offering the HP Pre 3 for  £360 SIM-free and unlocked. For the specs of the HP Pre 3 click here. [Update] HP Pre 3 processor bumped up to 1.2GHz dual-core?

When HP unveiled the Pre 3, they said that it will be powered by a 1.4GHz single-core processor from Qualcomm. Clove went to scout (maybe for a reason why the smartphone is delayed in the UK) and found that the smartphone's product page, in the UK, now say that the device will be powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor also from Qualcomm. This is still something that needs to be confirmed because things might have just been overlooked. But for now the product page of the smartphone definitely says so.

UK: HP Pre 3 release delayed until late July

For those who are in the UK and have been waiting for the launching of the HP Pre 3 that runs on WebOS  2.2. The phone was suppose to be launched in the UK in July 3rd, apparently, that did not happen as the day came and went. Today, we have a report from Clove that the handset is delayed until "late July". So for those who are wanting this phone from HP, then this is bad news. A bit of waiting is what you need to do for now.

UK: HP Pre 3 to launch in the UK in July 3rd

The HP Pre 3, announced back in February, is now available for pre-order in the UK via a third party retailer. It is also scheduled to ship in July 8, according to the same retailer. HP Pre 3 packs a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with WebOS 3.0 running inside it which will also be running on the HP TouchPad. WebOS 3.0 is a platform that should be competing with other popular platforms out there. Check this post and you'll know why WebOS is a deserving competitor. 

HP intros HP Pre 3 with a Qualcomm 1.4 GHz processor

This is the second handset that HP unveiled during their HP WebOS event in San Francisco which has just concluded a few minutes ago. The HP Pre 3 is the larger of the two, the HP Veer is a cute little touch screen phone that features a full QWERTY keyboard. The Pre 2 by the way will be made available for pre-orders tomorrow with Verizon.
