HP unveils HP Veer running on WebOS 2.2


HP's WebOS event just concluded and they have unveiled 3 devices all running on WebOS. The first device is the HP Veer. It is the smallest device that HP have showcased and unveiled in San Francisco where all the introduction have happened.




Even if the handset is the smallest device at the event, it surely does not offer small stuff inside it.

HP Veer specs:

  • 2.6"  (320 x 400) touch screen display
  • 800 Mhz Qualcomm Snapdragon 7230 processor (new chips from Qualcomm)
  • 512 MB of RAM
  • 5 MP EDoF rear facing camera
  • HSPA+ support
  • Sliding QWERTY keyboard
  • 8 GB internal storage
  • Flash 10.1 support
  • WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
  • WiFi router capability (up to 5 devices)
  • Integrated GPS
  • Bluetooth 2.1
  • 910 mAh battery
  • Accelerometer
  • Proximity sensor
  • Light sensor
  • TouchStone compatibility
  • Mobile Hotspot
No details on pricing and availability though. HP just said "at a later date".
