When HP unveiled the Pre 3, they said that it will be powered by a 1.4GHz single-core processor from Qualcomm. Clove went to scout (maybe for a reason why the smartphone is delayed in the UK) and found that the smartphone's product page, in the UK, now say that the device will be powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor also from Qualcomm. This is still something that needs to be confirmed because things might have just been overlooked. But for now the product page of the smartphone definitely says so.
[Update] The HP Pre 3 is not or will not be powered by a dual-core processor. Proof? Go to the smartphone's product page and check out the processor it now says, "Qualcomm MSM 8x55 1.4 GHz".
