Sony announces the Sony SX - the world's lightest LTE smartphone


Sony Mobile Communications has unveiled what they say as the world's lightest 4G LTE smartphone ever to land on Earth. Dubbed as the Sony Xperia SX, this smartphone will be one of Sony's first 4G capable smartphone to be launched in Japan. Yup, as of now, Japan will get this smartphone because according to the Japanese company, this smartphone is designed specifically for the Japanese market. Anyway, how light is the world's lightest LTE smartphone? Technically, it weighs only at a mind-boggling 95 grams. Sony plans to launch the Xperia SX in Japan in summer of this year. 




With regards to specs, Sony was really detailed about them. But the smartphone will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Powering the whole device inside it is a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with a 3.7" Reality Display with Sony's signature Mobile Bravia Engine. Other things include an 8GB internal storage and an 8MP rear camera.

The phone will come in either black or white.
