The Acer Iconia Smart, was first unveiled a long time ago (early this year) and until today it is still not yet available to interested buyers. It's been 5 months since the time they announced the "phoneblet". It would still be running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and the same things in it, it just that the Taiwan-based company is still not yet able to sell this 4.8-incher smartphone.
But there's a good and a bad news here. First the good news is that Acer Germany have finally put a time when the smartphone will launch. The bad? It's still a month from now.
For pricing though, the Iconia Smart will sell for €499 (around $710). So for those who wants there smartphone to be big then this is the smartphone you want to get. Up to now it is still the Iconia Smart that will sport the largest touchscreen display on a smartphone ever.
