HTC announced their first tablet device during the Mobile World Congress 2011. Their tablet is somehow unique from those Android 3.0 tables that were announced. Those sport dual-core processors, large display (usually at 10 inches), and of course they all run on Android 3.0 Honeycomb.
The Flyer does not feature a dual-core processor, instead HTC opted for a powerful 1.5GHz chip. They also opted to port Android 2.4 Gingerbread in it and an HTC wouldn't be an HTC if it did not have the HTC Sense in it right? (don't include Windows Phone device ok). Plus the HTC Flyer's screen measures not 10 inches but only 7 inches.
So regarding the device's availability, HTC just said that the device will be available globally in Q2 of 2011. Anyway, in the UK, lucky Brits, has the device already up for pre-order.
Thanks to Clove, who is offering it for £600 (including vat), you can get the device, that HTC goodness, for pre-order. Of course, the device will start shipping once they get stocks of it but expect it to be arriving in "Q2 of 2011".So, who's getting one?
