Motorola Mobility announced the WiFi only version of the world's first Android 3.0 Honeycomb device last Thursday and of course it is now available for pre-order at Amazon, Staples, and Costco. The Xoom is a dual-core tablet powered by Android 3.0 Honeycomb and is currently the only tablet available in the market to run on the said platform.
First, Costco. The retailer is putting a $589 price tag on the tablet.
Amazon prices the Xoom WiFi for $599.
Staples prices it a bit more expensive than what Amazon can offer at $599.98.
The Motorola Xoom WiFi will be launched in March 27th, that's about a week from now. So get your credit cards ready and go to which ever retailer you feel comfortable.
