Google Android tradition: Honeycomb statue at Google HQ


Like all the other version of Android, the Honeycomb gets a statue too! Google have recently positioned this statue at their Mountain View, California headquarters to commemorate the Android 3.0 Honeycomb. Although this might not actually look like food (dessert) for you this certainly makes the Honeycomb officially official. I like how the Android robot sits on that cell.

Motorola Xoom to be launched in Japan & Germany in April


One of the most talked about Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet is coming to Germany and Japan in April. The Motorola Xoom is already available in the US via Verizon Wireless while Germany and Japan will get their taste of the tablet 2 months from now.


Google updates Chrome's stable version


Google have released an update to Chrome's stable version. The update, version 9.0.597.107, is now available for all platforms. The update does not contain new features it focuses on fixing security issues with the browser. Download you Googe Chrome (Stable) now over at the Chrome download page or if you are already running on the stable version of Chrome then click on the wrench button (upper right corner of the browser) > About Google Chrome > Then install the update.

Samsung to unveil a 8.9" Galaxy Tab on March 22?


Samsung is ready for an unveiling on March 22 but what device is it? Base on the photo it is pretty sure that it will be a tablet device but what tablet actually is it? They already unveiled the Galaxy Tab 10 during MWC 2011, what's next? March 22-24 is CTIA Wireless, by the way, which will be held at the Orange County convention center in Orlando, Florida.

Dell Venue Pro finally available in the UK


Oh, I thought this device was never coming out from it's closet. The long-ago-announced Del Venue Pro running on Windows Phone 7 is finally available in the UK. The device was simply hampered from its official launching because of issues that just made interested buyers go berserk (exaggerating).

White iPad 2 might make see the light of day


Yes, I know, it's supposed to be white just relax though it's coming. You might notice me posting a lot of leaks and rumors about the next iteration of the iPad. This is because on March 2, Apple will announce something, and what better way to wait for that day to come than to post about things that we should be expecting that I know Apple won't disappoint us. Okm the white thingy is over the break.

Samsung announced White Galaxy Ace in South Korea


The mid-range Galaxy Ace was announced by Samsung ahead of the Mobile World Congress 2011, they actually announced 4 handsets. Anyway the phone is already selling over at Three UK and in South Korea with O2 UK joining in the bandwagon. While the handset is already selling in it's home turf, the company announced the White version of the Samsung Galaxy Ace also in South Korea.

RIM rep says PlayBook will support Android Apps


Well, what do we have hear? A video taken during the Mobile World Congress 2011 and is just discovered to contain valuable information. The guy you hear talking is a RIM representative at the BlackBerry booth at MWC 2011. The representative said that the BlackBerry PlayBook will be supporting Android Apps, in short, it will be running apps intentionally made for Android.
