RIM rep says PlayBook will support Android Apps

Well, what do we have hear? A video taken during the Mobile World Congress 2011 and is just discovered to contain valuable information. The guy you hear talking is a RIM representative at the BlackBerry booth at MWC 2011. The representative said that the BlackBerry PlayBook will be supporting Android Apps, in short, it will be running apps intentionally made for Android.

Somewhere in the middle of that video you can hear the rep saying “we will also support Android apps when we release the Dalvik engine on top of QNX,” Although this might not actually say that the device WILL eventually run Android apps, since it is not a statement coming from the Canadian company, his words and statement is a big discovery and actually confirms previous reports
