When Google's Chrome OS was launched, there were two laptop manufacturers who also presented their Chromebooks, Acer and Samsung. The photo above is the Samsung Series 5 and below is the Acer Chromebook. Both are now available for pre-order from Best Buy and Amazon.com
The Samsung Series 5 comes in black or white and has a price tag starting at $430. Acer's Chromebook, which is now officially known as the Acer Cromia, will cost starting at $380.
