BestBuy, via Facebook have invited people to their BlackBerry PlayBook launch event which will be happening on April 19th. Today, you can pre-order the tablet from the retailer starting from $499.99. Best Buy will be the third retailer to offer the PlayBook in the US market along side with Office Depot and Staples.
As a refresher, the PlayBook will be sporting a 7" touch screen diplay and will be running on a QNX-based BlackBerry OS. WiFi, Bluetooh, GPS, and all the other stuff a tablet should have. Also, the PlayBook will have access to hundreds of thousands of Android apps.
