Sony NGP (PSP 2) will be priced lower than the PS3 also has WiFi only version

The Sony PSP2 (as what other techblogs would want to call it) will not be that expensive after all. Announced yesterday, the Sony NGP (Next Generation Portable entertainment system) boasts specs that will blow your mind. We can't just take the quad-core powered portable gaming system for granted and the fact that it has two capacitive touchpads at it's rear and not to mention the front and rear facing cameras.

With those specs inside the gaming behemoth we'd expect it to be very expensive, but according to SCE's of worldwide studios the Sony NGP "is not going to be $599”.  He went on to say that the device will be priced lower than the PS3. So at least by that statement we already have an idea how much the device will cost.

Sony is also working on two versions of the Sony NGP, one with 3G capability and the other a WiFi only version of it. As expected the WiFi only version will be cheaper than that of the WiFi plus 3G device. No other details are exposed though. When the device will be launched is still a question, but expect it to be out within this year if not soon.
