At IFA 2014, the Taiwan-based tech company, Asus, have taken the wraps off their first smartwatch challenger. The Asus ZenWatch, which runs on Android Wear is a smartwatch that has design at its heart. I have to admit that I kind of like how the watch looks like. The ZenWatch will be available soon, although Asus did not mention anything about the device's availability in certain markets. According to Android Community, the ZenWatch will be priced at €199.
The ZenWatch has a 1.63" AMOLED in a 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 320x320. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and features 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage, Bluetooth connectivity, and a microUSB port for charging.
