LG and Toshiba confirmed to unveil their tablet challenger during CES 2011 will run on Android Honeycomb

Let's talk about LG first. The South Korean company is set to unveil their tablet challenger. The device as far as I am concerned must be the LG Optimus Pad that was introduced by LG themselves back in November of 2011. Like what LG introduced before the tablet will run on Android Honeycomb OS and that the tablet will features an 8.9" multi touch screen display.

On Toshiba's side of the news, they are also set to unveil their tablet during CES 2011 and that it will also run on Android Honeycomb. The tablet is said to have a 10" (1280 x 800) capacitive touch screen display which is based on nVidia's Tegra 2 platform (dual-core processor). Other features of the tablet includes ambient light sensor, accelerometer, a 5 MP camera (rear), 2 MP front facing camera, HDMI output, and expandable storage via an SD card slot.

Definitely. CES 2011 will give us a slurry of tablets. January 6, 2011 is the date to mark your calendars.
