[Rumors] LG Optimus Pad to run on Android 3.0 Honeycomb with Tegra 2 - dual core

Rumors and more rumors. It was unveiled before and rumored to be thrown away into the trash bin (the plan, at least) and now it makes a come back with another rumor. Don't we just love rumors? Here, we will discover another journey of the LG Optimus Pad as it is rumored to be launched and will run on Android 3.0 Honeycomb, which is also a rumored version (at least the version number) of the Android OS.

With Samsung's launching of it's first tablet in the market, a journey dubbed as a "saga", LG is also cooking up a tablet in their camp. The LG Optimus Pad is here to announce, rumorly, that it will be runing on Android 3.0 Honeycomb.

My source said that the hardware is ready to meet the limelight but gets delayed because of the software. LG's been thinking twice on which OS they will put in their tablet challenger, either the not suitable for tablet Android 2.2 Froyo or the et to be released Android 3.0.

Other things that my source said is that the tablet will be running with a dual core Tegra 2 (nVidia) processor and it'll be an 8.9" tablet just right in between of the Galaxy Tab and the famous iPad.

Hmm, we'll see where this tablet brings us in the future. That future I guess is not that near, Google is yet to release the Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
