Apple launches iTunes Match download/update your iTunes now
For $24.99/year your entire music collection will be synced to iCloud via iTunes Match. This service from Apple was already announced back then when iOS 5 was demoed and revealed. The whole thing works for the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, and your Macs and when you avail of this service your entire music collection can be streamed to any of these devices. Pretty neat, I should say. But the service ain't free.

Apple releases an update to iTunes ahead of iOS 5 launch tomorrow (October 12 - US)
Apple on Tuesday (Oct. 11 - US time) released an update to iTunes. It's like a protocol right? Whenever Apple is scheduled to release a newer version of iOS iTunes is also updated, well before that version of iOS is available to the public. iOS 5 is what we are talking about here, it is scheduled to be released tomorrow (Oct. 12 - US). But of course an update always has something new that it brings, so iTunes 10.5 tows in support for Apple's iTunes in the Cloud service which logically prepares iTunes with iOS 5 with it's iCloud service (I hope I am making sense). Anyway, download iTunes 10.5 now!

Apple releases iTunes 10.1
Yup, 10.1 not Flash but iTunes. Apple has released the final version of iTunes 10.1 to the "masses" today. The update fixes known bugs to the previous iTunes version, improvements, iOS 4.2 compatibility and the capability to use AirStream which allows you to stream videos to your Apple TV wirelessly.
This version of the iTunes is required before you can install the iOS 4.2 which is bound to be released soon. Well, things aren't looking as good as it is suppose to be since the release of the iOS 4.2 is delayed. As we all know, the iTunes 10.1 is the second of the three part software updates that Apple is set to release coming after the Mac OS X 10.6.5.
Download your latest iTunes version on your Mac via Software Update, on your Apple Software update for Windows, or directly from the Apple iTunes Website.
