Angry Birds now has a web version now available at the Chrome Web Store

Yes ladies and gents you read the title correct! Rovio's Angry Birds is basically everywhere! Even on your Chrome browsers! The web-based game is built in WebGL so technically the game would work with any browsers you have (just head over to http://chrome.angrybirds.com/ using your favorite browser). I've already installed my Angry Birds on my Google Chrome (photo below) and have also tried to run the game using my Firefox 4 and it worked fine.

My chrome apps
They have promised a 60fps gaming experience on your browser provided that you have a well spec'd machine. Also, offline gaming is available. So what are Chrome users getting that other browser users won't get? Endgadget said that Chrome will get game exclusives like "Chrome Bombs"  and whatnots.

I do not know if this makes a difference but try playing the game using IE9. Microsoft's browser features full hardware acceleration so it should run smoother there, I've tried it and it seems the game runs smoother on IE9, but I am not sure about this just an observation. Anyway, for Chrome users head over to the Chrome Web Store now and install Angry Birds on your browsers now!
