Verizon have recently announced that they their first Windows Phone 7 device will be launched online on May 26th and it will be available at Verizon Wireless stores in June 2. Since Microsoft have been pushing out updates to WP7 devices, the question on what version of Windows Phone will the Trophy be running right out from the box is still a question that remains to be answered until today.

HTC Trophy with Verizon branding gets photoed
Correct me if I'm wrong but does Verizon Wireless currently offer a Windows Phone 7 device? Why is this such a news? Anyway, forgive my ignorance. The HTC 7 Trophy, as you can see in the photo courtesy of Endgadget, wears red and of course the Verizon logo at the top. The tipster that sent this photo to the popular site said that the platform running on that Trophy is the "NoDo" software update which includes the copy-paste feature. Based on rumors, the phone might be launched over at Verizon in late March.

HTC 7 Trophy coming to Verizon in March?
Sprint already announced their Windows Phone 7 offering to be coming in March 20th, Verizon is also doing the same, but probably not on the same date. The HTC 7 Trophy is already announced by Verizon to be coming in "early 2011". But to narrow things down WinRumors have reported that the handset will be launched by the Big Red in February 28th. This is still unconfirmed so when Verizon finally announces the handset I will be posting about it.

HTC 7 Trophy review by Endgadget
The HTC 7 Trophy is the 4th HTC Windows Phone 7 device that Endgadget was able to review about. There are actually 5 WP7 HTCs that they have unveiled, the HTC HD7, HTC 7 Surround, & HTC 7 Mozart have all been reviewed, except for one, that until now has yet to be reviewed, the HTC 7 Pro. I think, the HTC 7 Pro is also yet to give us some live photos or hands on. This time it's the HTC 7 Trophy's hour to be on the spotlight and gets to be judged right there and then. Head over the break to read the goods an the bads of this smartphone.

HTC 7 Mozart, HTC 7 Trophy, and the HTC HD7 first look
HTC the brand that unveiled more Windows Phone 7 during the OS' launch compared to Samsung and LG. CG (computer generated) video clips of the 5 HTC devices running on Windows Phone 7 have been popping up on HTC's Youtube channel. I've already posted the HTC 7 Pro's and HTC 7 Surround's very own video clips on my older posts. This time it's the HTC 7 Mozart's, HTC 7 Trophy's, and the HTC HD7's turn.

Sprint offers the HTC 7 Trophy, HTC 7 Mozart and the HTC 7 Pro
Sprint gets three Windows Phone 7 devices and all of them are HTCs. The HTC 7 Trophy, HTC 7 Mozart, and the HTC 7 Pro. It seems that Sprint is loving HTC with their WP7 OS running on them. HTC have unveiled 5 WP7 devices and three of them are going to Sprint.
The HTC 7 Trophy is a touch only WP7 smartphone like the other 4 HTCs with the WP7 running on them. Only the HTC 7 Pro has a slide out QWERTY keyboard. Anyway, the smartphone pictured above has a 3.8 inch WVGA display, HSDPA, WiFi, SRS WOW HD audio technology, a 5MP autofocus camera, HD video recording, 576 MB of RAM and 512 MB of ROM, and 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
The HTC 7 Mozart is a 3.7 inch WVGA touch screen smartphone. An 8MP autofocus camera with Xenon flash. I think based on what my source posted is the only difference from the HTC 7 Trophy.
Here's the only HTC WP7 smartphone that features a slide out QWERTY keyboard plus its a CDMA device. Unfortunately, the device will only be available in the first half of 2011 via Sprint but my source said "and maybe also via Verizon, although Microsoft said nothing about this".
Here's a snippet from my source about when, where and what HTC WP7 device will be available.
North America:
- HTC 7 Surround will be available at AT&T (in the US) and Bell (in Canada)
- HTC HD7 will be out via T-Mobile
- Sprint will launch the HTC 7 Pro (in 2011, as mentioned above)
Europe:
- HTC 7 Mozart will be available via Orange (UK, France, Switzerland, Spain and Austria) and T-Mobile (Germany and Austria)
- HTC HD7 will be available at Telefonica / O2 (UK, Ireland, Germany and Spain), and via Bouygues Telecom in France
- HTC 7 Trophy will be launched by Vodafone (in the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Austria and Switzerland)
- Both the HD7 and Mozart will be “broadly available in Italy”
Asia-Pacific:
Via: Unwired View
- HTC HD7 will be launched by Telstra (Australia), Singtel (Singapore), Maxis (Malaysia), Taiwan Mobile, and three carriers in Hong Kong
- HTC 7 Mozart will be out via Telstra, Starhub (Singapore), Chunghwa Telecom (Taiwan), and three carriers in Hong Kong
- HTC 7 Trophy will be sold by Vodafone (in Australia and New Zealand) and M1 (in Singapore)
