RIM rolls out BlackBerry Playbook OS 2.0

RIM has rolled out the BlackBerry Playbook OS 2.0 to the company's sole tablet device. The update, which brings in a native email, contacts, and calendar, will be administered over-the-air. By that, your Playbooks should notify you if you already have the software ready for download and should download and install as soon as you get it.  The contacts, email, and calendar functionality, on this version of the OS, comes built-in, which by the way, was what Playbook users have been waiting for a long time. Other things included in this update are social network integration for the calendar and contact functionality, BlackBerry Bridge, and Open On.
