Twitter for Android updated comes with push notification and support for multiple accounts

Some of you might already have this and some might have not known about it, but finally! Twitter for Android now comes offers Push Notifications and support for multiple accounts. Twitter have released and made to public availability the latest version of the Twitter for Android app which you can get over at the Android Market.

Push Notifications, I believe is a great addition to this application! Version 2.1.1 of the Twitter for Android App now allows you to get push notifications from your Twitter whatever you are doing with your smartphone. You can great to this by going to the app's account settings > select "auto refresh" > and choose "receive updates for Direct Messages, @Mentions, and tweets".

The other feature that is a "most wanted" is the support for multiple accounts which third-party Twitter clients, like Seesmic, have been offering to their users a long time ago. So for those who has two or more Twitter accounts, you will enjoy this feature, and I believe you know what this means. You don't need to logout from one account in order to check for updates or tweet from a different account. Twitter assures us that switching from different account is easy and quick.
