This might not be true in a global perspective as Firefox still owns the largest share of the market for browsers, I think and believe, but at least it already happened in the Philippines! According to StatCounter, Google's Chrome browser have just passed Firefox with it's crown of being the most used web browser in the country.
Google Chrome now owns 41.83% of the total market for browsers in the Philippines! That's as of 11:20am today whilst Firefox holds 41.44%. I know that the difference is little, insignificant even, but that just says that Filipinos, know how to choose a browser. Firefox is yet to release their main weapon, Firefox 4. It is already in it's RC version and pretty soon they will be releasing the final version of the browser, in a hope to bring back the lost market share.
If you have been following my blog posts you should notice that Google is very active with their Chrome browser evidenced by the fact that they keep on updating both their stable and beta versions. Chrome Stable is currently at version 10.0.648.127. That release officially marks Chrome 10's step outside it's beta phase. Chrome Beta is now at version 10.0.648.126.
