Rumors, like launching and announcements, spread like wildfire in the internet. The rumor about Google delaying the shipment of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 due to a delay in the release of the Android 3.1 Honeycomb is already flying around the internet. We know that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is scheduled to be shipped soon, as announced by the Korean giant, equipped with 3.1 Honeycomb.
Rumor has it that Google will be delaying the release of 3.1 Honeycomb until August which means, basically, that tablets that were announced to launch soon, like the Galaxy Tab 10.1, towing the said version of Honeycomb will be delayed too.
But according to BGR, who confirmed it with Google, said that the rumor is not true. The tablet is still scheduled to launch next week. And anyway, the Android 3.1 Honeycomb is already released to the Motorola Xoom and the Asus EeePad Transformer, so I believe that is a sign that the OS is or was not delayed.
